The spy collection by Alegría can be summed up as "Bond-Girl Bondage" The collection features swimsuits inspired by Japanese rope-play shi-bari and utilizes various brightly colored camo prints and an explicit ransom note. This print was created to refer to the anonymity within the online gay hookup-culture by utilizing various "Grindr nudes" of the designers gay friends to create an undercover bacchanalia of naked men. Additonally, in this time of political unrest, Alegría created this pattern to function as a collection of "queer fatigues" as a flamboyant resistence to the various laws and regulations passed to silent the LGBTQ+ community.
